As we sail past a rainy July 4th weekend into the heart of Summer 2021, Opus 40 is offering several ways to experience nature, art and the Hudson Valley community. At the heart of our summer offerings are partnerships new and old — ranging from free story hour with local libraries to the resumption of the Sunset Sessions with WDST on July 9. There will also be monthly outdoor movies with Upstate Films and local fare from featured on-site vendors like Papa’s Best Batch, Masa Midtown, Stockade Tavern and Zora Dora Popsicles.
Partnerships are important to us, and no partnership is more meaningful than the launch of Ulster County Arts Collaborative Events (aka Ulster ACE) on July 10. We are kicking off Ulster ACE week at Opus 40 with a day of free visits where guests can explore offerings from some of the fabulous arts organizations that help make Ulster County such a remarkable and lively place. The day at Opus will also begin a week of happenings at participating cultural organizations, which include everything from live performances to visual art and more. Ulster ACE is a celebration of the rich cultural landscape in Ulster County. We’re proud to be part of this wonderful network of new and established groups working together to bring the arts to all the communities in our Hudson Valley home.
