August is here and so are the fabulous happenings!
We are delighted to welcome the brilliant folks at Vanaver Caravan on Wednesday August 4 at 5 PM for an evening of music and dance involving the whole audience! Move around the sculpture and find dancers at every magical turn.
Friday August 6th Radio Woodstock/WDST and Sunset Sessions 2021 features the amazing Holis Brown — indie rock from Queens, having toured extensively in America and Europe, headlining and supporting such bands as The Counting Crows, Citizen Cope and The Zombies AND we are delighted to have rescheduled the brilliant Aziza & The Cure from the rained out July date. Led by wife and husband, Joelle and River Rouen they blend influences from Classical, Jazz, Hip Hop, New Orleans, and Latin Music traditions to create a deeply rooted, transcendent blend of music.
August 7th, we welcome Orchester Praževica and their high energy dance music, drawing on the tradition of Eastern European Czardas and Gypsy Swing, but widely influenced by jazz and blues. Under the direction of Slovak born and raised guitarist and singer Tomáš Drgoň this band delivers honest, authentic and entertaining mix of folklore, jazz and dance music suitable for everything from upscale clubs to dives, jazz festivals to mosh pits, arts receptions to underground galleries.
We always have yoga on the meadow overlooking our remarkable bluestone sculpture, lead by the amazing Kelli Gilmore of Saugerties Yoga.
ALL WEEKEND LONG:
New work from Melora Kuhn in our gallery/on our meadow
PLUS BBQ from Papa’s Best Batch, Meze from Masa Midtown and the Hudson Valley’s Best Cocktails with Stockade Tavern!
