| Stone gives the amphitheater wonderful acoustics. Try standing on one side and talking softly to someone on the far side. Fite envisioned this as a performance space, and concerts have been held here. At the start of the road that leads out of the amphitheater, Fite had intended to build a stone arch, but this was never completed. | |
